curvenote clone and pull

curvenote clone and curvenote pull bring projects written in the Curvenote Editor onto your machine as Markdown, notebooks and a curvenote.yml, so you can preview, export and deploy them with the CLI. Private projects need you to be signed in.

curvenote clone

curvenote clone https://curvenote.com/@templates/web content/web
  • [remote]: the link to the project in the editor; without it you are asked.

  • [folder]: the folder to clone into, which must not exist yet. With -y it is content/<project name>.

  • -y, --yes: take the default answer to every question.

  • -ci, --ci: do a minimal build, for continuous integration.

Cloning into a folder that already has a site adds the project to the site’s projects and its navigation. curvenote init --curvenote <url> starts a new project from the editor in the same way.

curvenote pull

Pulls the latest content of a cloned project, or of one file in it, from the editor. It overwrites your local copies.

curvenote pull
curvenote pull content/web/intro.md
  • [path]: the project folder or file to update, the current folder by default.

  • -y, --yes: overwrite without asking.

  • -ci, --ci: do a minimal build, for continuous integration.
